I joined St. Ambrose in 1956 when my Dad decided to return to the fold! I was Baptized, made my First Communion and was Confirmed here at St. Ambrose.
I have been active in the parish for many years. I have been a catechist. And I have served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector for many years. I am involved in the Liturgical Environment especially in preparing for Christmas and Easter.
I also “inherited” the Sacristan role from my Mom! She took care of preparing for Masses every week for many years and when she couldn’t do it any more I stepped in. I have been happy to have several parishioners take on the role of Sacristan with me in the past year.
As I am now a “retired” person I am looking forward to continuing my activities as a Liturgical Committee Co-Chair as well as participating in other ministries here at St. Ambrose.
