Volunteers are needed to help plant, maintain, and distribute fresh garden produce from Rosie’s garden to families in need in the Kalamazoo area. This is the fifth year that St. Ambrose and the Lemkin House organization are collaborating in producing and distributing fresh vegetable produce. Initially, the focus was on distribution to refugee families in the area but has expanded to those in need. Produce is donated to Loaves & Fishes and the Gospel Mission for distribution. The Lemkin House has arranged for the use of a 60 ft x 60 ft garden plot just east of the Nazareth Farms located on East Main street for this purpose.
