July 8, 2024Thelma Reitler at an age of 96, passed away on Saturday evening, May 25, 2024.
A memorial mass ( Livestreamed) will be held 11: 00 am on July 11, 2024 at St. Ambrose Parchment and after a Luncheon will be held at St. Ambrose's parish activity hall.

Thelma was born in Kokomo, IN, on July 24, 1927, the daughter of Joseph H. and Marie (Mullins) Kowaski. She was married to Richard Curwin Reitler who preceded her in death. Thelma was a member at St. Ambrose Catholic Church and VFW Post 6241 in Delton. Her family was very important to her and she loved cooking for them. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers. Thelma is survived by her children, Sue Ann (Larry) Boitnott, Carolyn (Kerry) Louden, Patricia (Bill) Mockaitis; son-in-law, James Sweeton III; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends. Besides her husband, Thelma was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Lou Sweeton; sons, Tommy and Michael Reitler; sister, Rita Decker.
